The Basis Tourmalet 14 is with us! Following the first Tourmalet’s success, we thought we’d bring it back with a few additions and refinements.

Based around the same lightweight Alloy frame and Steel fork which translates to an agile but planted riding feel, while it’s 700c CNC machined wheels and 23c race tyres aspire a level of pace that’s unmatched by other styles of bicycles. It may not be the best candidate for a rural and unpredictable commute, but those of you who embark on lengthy road or city commutes will really reap it’s benefits.

Basis have decided to uprate the Tourmalet’s gearing system to broaden it’s range and indeed aid with those stubborn ascents. You’ll now find a 14 speed Shimano system with dual shifters. To counteract such pace, Basis have included simplistic, tried & tested calliper brakes front & rear.
