The Edge XM 427 is built around a 'Supreme Hydroformed' Alloy hardtail frame ensuring a direct & responsive riding feel on those trails while 27.5" wheels & Suntour XCT-HLO suspension forks comfortably tackle the terrain. Gearing is an essential feature of any mountain bike and it has to be capable of whatever terrain you may come across, so Lapierre have included a Shimano wide range 2 x 9 speed system to ensure smooth & efficient changes when down shifting into an incline. Brakes are another very key element in MTB - with unprdicatble terrain, steep inclines & declines posing threat. Lapierre have included Shimano Hyraulic Disc Brakes front & rear to provide instant braking engagement & as a result, rider confidence.

CONDITION AND SETUP
Brand new and sealed in a box, this bike comes part built. Fitting of pedals, stem handlebars, front wheel & saddle, as well as a general check over and tighten of all fixings on pre-assembled parts (spoke tension, crank etc). The brakes & gears (if the bike has gears) may require adjustment as part of the setup and once they have settled in. Further adjustments will need to be made over time to the bicycle to ensure ongoing safe use. We highly recommend a professional completes the setup for you if you are not confident of doing this yourself.
